Brooklyn-based powerhouse trio Rosalind conjures the magic of the full moon with their latest single “Moon.” Inspired by Charles Baudelaire's “Les Biensfaits de la Lune” (The Gifts of the Moon), the song is a lullaby and a call to all who feel touched by the moon in some way. Layers of harmonies ebb and flow in warm waves. The single weaves an organic soundscape with ethereal violin textures, acoustic guitar, wine glasses played as drones, and rippling piano underneath it all. The track has a pleasantly in-the-wild feel to it with found instruments like wine glasses, and an ever-so-slightly-out-of-tune piano with a pedal that creaks. They call to mind a fictional moonlight night at your grandmothers house by ancient piano. Moon is the second single to be released on a five song EP ALMA: CODA. The trio engineered and produced this track in full in their home studios and at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn, NY.
